September Company Corner: Back Into the Rhythm 💜

September is here, and our company season is starting to pick up! As choreography continues and we settle into our school-and-dance routines, this month brings a few important dates for our company families to keep on the calendar.

September Company Dates

September 7 | Labor Day – Studio Closed - EDA will be closed in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend!

September 14–19 | SPIRIT WEEK! - Company dancers—we want to see you join in on the fun! Below is each day's theme and come ready to show your EDA spirit.

September 15 | Company Accounts Invoiced - Company accounts will be invoiced for upcoming competition fees, choreography fees, uninforms and costumes. - Please keep an eye on your account and reach out with any questions.

September 19–20 | Production Rehearsal Weekend - It's Production Weekend! Company dancers involved in Production should be prepared for a full weekend of rehearsals as we begin bringing this season's production to life. Please make attendance a priority and come ready to work!

Why Consistency Matters

As we settle further into the season, consistent attendance is one of the best ways our company dancers can continue building momentum.

Company classes aren't just about learning choreography. They're where dancers strengthen their technique, build stamina, work on corrections, and continue developing the skills they'll rely on throughout competition season.

Being part of a company also means being part of a team. Showing up consistently helps everyone train together, grow together, and hold one another accountable.

We know that school, illness, and unexpected circumstances happen. When something comes up, please communicate with the studio. Our goal is to help our dancers balance their commitments while continuing to get the most out of their company training.

September 27 | Master Class with Madeline Bleich

We're excited to welcome Madeline Bleich to EDA on September 27th!

Master classes are a great opportunity for our company dancers to train with new teachers, experience different teaching styles, and challenge themselves outside of their regular classes.

We strongly encourage our company dancers to take advantage of opportunities like this throughout the season. Every new teacher, correction, and experience adds another tool to your dancer's training.
