Alyssa Brittan
Alyssa is a professional choreographer and team technique coach with over 10 years of teaching and dance experience across Arizona. A proud Elite Dance Academy alum, she trained locally before continuing at Centennial High School on Varsity Pom (captain) and Varsity Cheer.
She went on to dance at Grand Canyon University while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology, spending four years on the GCU Dance Team and serving as captain for three. During her time there, she earned multiple national titles, including UDA D1 Game Day Live Champion, 2x UDA D1 Spirit Program Game Day Live Champion, and four Top 4 finishes in D1 Jazz.
Alyssa has taught at studios across Arizona, including Elite Dance Academy, On Stage Dance Academy, LA Dance, and Club Dance, and currently serves as a Pro Mentor with Sharpen Up Dance Team Training.
Her choreography has led teams to regional titles and Top 5 DTU finishes, and she has contributed to collegiate-level choreography, including UNLV’s 2025 UDA Pom routine. Additional highlights include Sheer Elite Senior Title Winner, Vicki Sheer Award Winner, AIA Cheer State Champion, and finalist for both the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders.
Alyssa is passionate about creating a positive, motivating environment where dancers feel confident, challenged, and inspired to grow.
Marissa Calderone
With a vibrant passion for dance that began in her early years, Marissa is a dedicated dance instructor and choreographer based in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up in the valley, she excelled in competitive dance, mastering styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary/lyrical. Her discipline and artistry flourished as a member of the Grand Canyon University Dance Team, where she proudly competed at the UDA Nationals for four consecutive years, clinching Championship titles in Gameday.
Today, Marissa shares her expertise by teaching and choreographing for various dance studios and high schools across the valley. With a specialization in technique, strength, and performance quality, she inspires young dancers to reach their full potential. Additionally, Marissa is an active member of Tap 24.7’s Young Adult Tap group, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and excellence in dance.
Through her dynamic teaching style and a deep understanding of the art form, Marissa fosters a nurturing environment where dancers can thrive and express their creativity.
