October at EDA: Growing Through the Season 🍂
October is here, and Season 21 is moving right along!
By this point in the season, dancers are settling into their routines, building relationships with their teachers and classmates, and beginning to see the progress that comes from showing up consistently each week. October is a great time to encourage dancers to keep working, stay focused, and enjoy everything that comes with being part of the EDA community.
🍂 Progress Happens One Class at a Time
Dance training is built through repetition and consistency. Sometimes growth is easy to see, a new skill, stronger technique, or increased flexibility, and sometimes it is happening quietly in the background.
Encourage your dancer to focus less on comparing their progress to others and more on what they are learning from week to week. Every class is an opportunity to become a little stronger, more confident, and more comfortable in their movement.
And remember: progress doesn’t have to be perfect to count!
⭐ September Spirit Week!
We had SO much fun celebrating Spirit Week in September! We loved seeing our dancers show up each day, get creative, participate in the themes, and bring so much EDA spirit into the studio.
Of course, we had to recognize one dancer who went above and beyond all week long…
Congratulations to Luna, our September “Most Spirited” winner! 🎉

Luna brought the energy and showed her EDA spirit all week long. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Spirit Week so much fun!
Check out some of the fun we had during spirit week!
We already can’t wait for the next one!
🎄 The Nutcracker Is in Full Swing!
Rehearsals are underway, and The Nutcracker Ballet is officially in full swing at EDA! Our dancers and teachers are hard at work bringing this special holiday tradition to life, and we cannot wait to share it with you.
Mark your calendars for December 5th!
Stay tuned for more information about tickets, performance details, and everything you need to know as we get closer to show day. We are so excited to see all of the hard work happening in rehearsals make its way to the stage!
🎷 Megan Needs Is Coming Back to EDA!
We are so excited to welcome Megan Needs back to Elite Dance Academy this October for another master class!
Our master classes give dancers the opportunity to step outside of their regular weekly classes, learn from incredible guest educators, experience different teaching styles, and challenge themselves in a fun environment.
If your dancer has a friend who loves to dance, invite them to join us! Master classes are even more fun with friends, and dancers do not have to attend EDA to participate.
⛳ EDA Teachers Take on Topgolf!
Our EDA teachers recently traded in the dance floor for the driving range and enjoyed a fun night out together at Topgolf! We had such a great time laughing, chatting, and connecting with one another outside of the studio. Our teaching team spends so much time working together to support our dancers, and it was wonderful to have a chance to relax, have some fun, and strengthen the friendships that make our EDA family so special.

October always brings a little extra fun to the studio! Be sure to watch for upcoming October activities, important dates, and reminders throughout the month.
As schedules get busier with school, fall activities, and the holidays approaching, please continue to make regular class attendance a priority whenever possible. Consistent attendance helps dancers continue building on the skills they are developing each week.
We’re excited for another great month of Season 21. Thank you for being part of the EDA family and for trusting us to be part of your dancer’s journey.
Here’s to a wonderful October!
