August is here, and we're so excited for everything this month has in store! As summer comes to an end and the school year begins, our studio is buzzing with excitement as we continue preparing for another incredible season.

Whether you're returning for another year or joining us for the very first time, we're so happy you're here!

💜 Welcome to Our New EDA Families!

A very special welcome to all of the new dancers and families joining the Elite Dance Academy community this season!

We know starting at a new studio can feel exciting and a little overwhelming, but we're here to help every step of the way. At EDA, we're more than just a dance studio—we're a family. We strive to create an environment where dancers are encouraged to work hard, build confidence, develop lasting friendships, and discover a lifelong love of dance.

We can't wait to watch each of our dancers grow throughout Season 21 and are honored that you've chosen to be part of our dance family.

🎄 Nutcracker Auditions – August 1

The magic begins!

Nutcracker Auditions will take place on Saturday, August 1st, and we can't wait to cast another incredible production of this holiday classic. Whether this is your dancer's first Nutcracker or their tenth, we are excited to see everyone take the stage and become part of this cherished EDA tradition.

🩰 Nutcracker Rehearsals Begin

Once auditions are complete, Nutcracker rehearsals will begin.

Please be sure to watch your email and studio communications for rehearsal schedules, casting information, and any additional details. We appreciate everyone's commitment as we begin preparing for one of our favorite performances of the year.

🎭 Calling All Adults!

One of the most memorable scenes in The Nutcracker is the festive Party Scene, and we'd love for parents and community members to join us on stage!

No dance experience is necessary—just a willingness to have fun and help bring the magic to life.

🎒 Back to School

As many of our dancers head back to school this month, we want to wish everyone an amazing school year!

We hope the transition back into the classroom is a smooth one filled with new friendships, exciting opportunities, and lots of success. We know balancing school, dance, homework, and family life takes dedication, and we're so proud of the commitment our dancers show every year.

Remember—education always comes first, and we're here to support our dancers both inside and outside the studio.

💜 A Few Friendly Reminders

• Please arrive a few minutes early so dancers are ready to begin class on time.

• Be sure all dance shoes, water bottles, jackets, and dance bags are labeled with your dancer's name.

• Check that your dancer's dress code items still fit and are ready for the busy months ahead.
